John Freda Frizz Ease Original Serum First Impressions Review

Chou
Today's post is going to be a first impressions of the John Freda Frizz Ease 6 effects original serum, I recently picked this up at £4.19 in Superdrug where it was on sale, I am afraid however it is no longer on sale at the current moment.
It directs you to apply the serum to wet hair so I usually get out the shower and brush any tangles out of my hair then using a pea size amount through my hair with my fingers. I do avoid my roots as it instructs you too, as I presume it could my roots more oily as for the six effects:

  • Eliminates Frizz - not bad I have quite thick hair and I have seen a great difference since I started to use the serum. Other than in my roots wear the little whispee bits of hair still have their frizz!
  • Protects from Humanity - sadly I can't say much about this living in the UK and even though it is warmer than usual I wouldn't say it was humid!
  • Protects from Heat - I have only used the serum on my hair before blow drying a bit and it seemed to not let the hair be too effected. However I would never only use the serum before straightening or curling my hair as I wouldn't say my hair was protected enough.
  • Smoothes - I think my hair has been softer and feeling less dry, less so after blowdrying but when I let my hair dry naturally I see a could result.
  • Hydrates - I think my hair has been less dry and all round softer as I have already mentioned.
  • Tames  - yes my ends have been less all over the place but as I said before my roots were still going everyone.
I would recommend this serum for a good all rounder and at a very good price it is easy to apply I can't feel that it is there but I can see the work it is doing!
