Ahhhhh my hair!!

Hi everyone,
Today's post is all things I use in some way to try and control my fairly thick frizz prone shoulder length hair. I used to use three rules if I am having a good hair day my hair can be down, if my hair was a bit mad it was in a ponytail and if it was a bad, bad hair day my hair was piled  onto my head in some sort of bun like structure!
Now I have developed more of a routine although my hair is still mad on the day I wash it as I wash my hair every other day.

The wash
As I have already mentioned I wash my hair every other day I start with the Head and shoulders itchy scalp shampoo only on my scalp itself to keep it dandruff free and really care for my scalp more. I have never really had any dandruff problems but I really don't want any. Then to the rest of my hair I use the Aussie Miracle Moust shampoo for hair that is a bit dry. I usually get my hair wet then turn off the shower to really get the shampoo into my hair and then I rinse all of it out thoroughly. For conditioner I use theAussie 3 minute miracle frizz remedy which I think I have also mentioned before. I again turn off the shower to apply this and keep a hair band in the shower to put my hair in a bun so the conditioner time to work. In this time I exfoliate and wash my body before washing out the conditioner.

Out of the shower with a dry body I like to brush through my wet hair with my Tangle teaser then apply the John Freda Frizz Ease original 6 effect serum, this I apply avoiding my roots and focusing on my ends. Then if I have lots of time to let my hair dry I use a hair towel to allow the serum to work and just get my wet hair out of my face. If I have to rush then a quick blow dry.

When I use heat on my hair which to be honest is quite rarely I like to apply a heat protecting spray the one I like is the VO5 heat protect styling spray which also leaves my hair soft and shiny.
If my hair does get greasy between washes or I don't have the time to wash it as much as I like which is fairly rare I use the Dove refresh and care dry shampoo. The only thing I will say about this is that it works but the smell if quite strong and very sweet so if someone else regognised the smell they would regognise the dry shampoo.

Thank you for reading I don't think my hair routine is quite perfect yet but I am happy that everything  used is budget and gives my hair better results than before I used many of these products. I hope you are having a lovely day please follow me below on Bloglovin and at QuelquefoisFantastique on Pinterest. Here is today's insperational quote:
Stay true to you and you will end up incredibly happy.
