What I bought on holiday:

Hi guys,

That is the first time I haven't started with 'chou' but I just don't think it was ever going to work if you get what I mean. I am sorry that posts have been all over the place recently I have been very busy and I just haven't written anything on here. I am trying to find my feet in the world of blogging and trying to be proud of the work I put into it. This is trying to explain the new layout to the blog and hopefully some new content appearing soon. I feel like currently I am being very samey to what everyone has seen before on other blogs. Sorry for that long intro but please if you have any ideas for me just comment them below.

Recently I went to Germany and Belgium, I bought a few things ( a lot of chocolate!) and I have been trying out some of the products but longer reviews will come later.

First I think I will start with skincare as I got very excited in an outlet shopping area in the south west of Germany to see a Body Shop, I love the body shop so finding products at a fraction of the price was awesome. After smelling everything in the shop a choose the Moringa body butter (€10 which with current conversion would be £8 which is usually £13)which turned out to be very useful when this pale Brit ( i.e. me) got sunburn all across her back. I really loved the scent of this stuff it is a very floral but fresh scent I think. In the body shop I also got the Honeymania cream body scrub (€9 which currently converts to £7.20 and is usually £13!!) which smells amazing when I was taking the photo below I remembered why I love this so much. I love that in the body shop you can find a product you love the scent to as there is just so much choice.

Before I got the flight to Germany I bought the August edition of Elle which is now last months edition and I didn't really enjoy it as I usually do but it came with some 'Malin + Goetz' products which is a brand I have never heard of and I will get back to you on how much I like them. It came with a 10ml grapefruit face cleanser which is of a gel like consistency, a 10ml vitamin e face moisturiser and a 5ml lip moisturiser.
In Brugge in Belgium I came across a store called Hema from what I saw it seemed a cheap store which only sold there on brand of products I was in need of a day cream so found the it's my beautiful skin day in dry/sensitive, SPF 10 from Hema I did google this product but all previous reviews are not in English. Currently I like that it contains an SPF but it does smell a bit like toilet cleaner and for only €3.25 I am interested to see further results.

Going from skincare a little when the lip addict tag was circulating you tube Lily Pepples mentioned a lip balm she had been sent from a viewer so I wanted to check it out. It is the Kaufmann Haut-und-kinder-creme (€2.49). I currently really like it is a thick treatment for my lips after using a lip scrub.

For makeup I picked up my first ever high end makeup product in Duty free as I wanted to use up some of my Euros that I had left from the trip. I really wanted to get something but it took me a while to decide in the end I went to the Benefit stand and got the Gimme Brow brow-volumizing fiber gel in light/medium (€21 which is £14.85 when it usually £17.50) . I currently really like this stuff it has a strange smell and if you touch your brows they feel kind of crispy. I think it is a good product but I am unsure it is worth its usual price.

Finally a stop in Hand M I got some rose gold rings one with a bow, one a star and another a star an gem (€3.95 for all three). The bow in particular reminded me of a ring I had seen from Kate Spade I just thought they were really cute.

I also bought this navy striped T-shirt it is quite baggy and really comfy to tuck into shorts (€7.99).
